Richard originally worked for the first owners of Star La Cala from 2002, before purchasing the company from the founder following his retirement in 2007. With decades of experience in the Costa del Sol property market, Richard has played a key role in the continued growth and success of the business, building a trusted reputation for honesty, knowledge, and long-standing client relationships.

Sammy is Co-Owner of Star La Cala and Managing Director of Star Interiors, our in-house staging department. She plays a hands-on role in ensuring every property is presented in the best possible light, helping homes stand out, attract more interest, and achieve stronger sales results. Her eye for detail and passion for presentation are a huge part of the Star difference.

David has lived in Spain since 2003 and joined Star in 2008. His current role focuses on providing free, no-obligation market valuations, securing quality listings, and ensuring every property is presented to the highest standard. Known to many as "Honest Dave", David is always happy to offer straightforward advice and guidance on buying or selling property in Spain.

Rebecca has been part of the company since 2013 and plays a vital role in the day-to-day organisation of the business. As Office Manager and Head of Sales Administration, she supports both the sales team and clients throughout the entire sales process, working closely with lawyers to ensure transactions run as smoothly and stress-free as possible. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Rebecca is often the glue that keeps everything running seamlessly behind the scenes.

Cédric has been a Sales Consultant with Star La Cala for over three years. Passionate about property and people, he believes every client's journey is unique and enjoys helping buyers find the right home and lifestyle on the Costa del Sol. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Cédric works with a wide range of international clients and is known for his approachable, attentive, and client-focused service.

Sorrel joined the company in 2024 and manages the company's marketing, social media, and Google Ads campaigns, helping generate leads and maximising online exposure for Star's property listings. Having lived in Mijas Costa for many years and known Richard and Sammy for over 20 years, her background in digital marketing and content creation brings a fresh and modern approach to the Star brand online.

Dudley is the newest member of the Star Properties team and brings with him over 26 years of experience living on the Costa del Sol. With extensive local knowledge from Mijas to Marbella, he enjoys helping clients find the right property to suit their lifestyle — whether that's an investment opportunity, holiday home, or permanent family residence.
